Networking Breakfast

7:45
Auditorium & Lobby
In the words of San Diego’s classiest news anchor: It’s the final day, and if last night at Duke’s was any indication, we respect the dedication. We see you. We are you. But greatness waits for no one, and neither does this agenda. We have you covered with a full coffee and espresso bar and an even heartier breakfast, because this morning calls for something stronger than good intentions. Fuel up, connect with fellow attendees, and get the Capture San Diego results from earlier in the week. This networking breakfast is kind of a big deal. Let’s close out strong. — Ron Burgundy, Channel 4 News Team, San Diego | Unofficial Culinary Correspondent, Looq UC 2026. Stay classy.

SDSIC Field Capture to Asset Intelligence Subcommittee

8:00
Ted (Edward) P Scripps II #165
This session is designed as a working forum—not just to discuss the challenge, but to leave with a clear, actionable plan for the newly formed subcommittee. Participants will align on the current state of data and standards across transmission, distribution, and substations, then move into collaborative problem-solving focused on breaking down data silos and eliminating duplication across GIS, asset management, engineering, and vegetation management workflows. Through structured discussion and group exercises, the session will define the core problem, identify the stakeholders and industry groups that must be involved, and outline how survey-grade, engineering-ready, and asset-intelligent data can be leveraged across the full lifecycle. By the end, the group will produce a tangible committee framework—technical direction, pilot initiatives, and a proposed cadence for ongoing collaboration—to turn the Field Truth Framework into an operational reality.

In the words of San Diego’s classiest news anchor… Now we are talking. Today’s lunch is reserved for a distinguished few. This is not just any lunch. This is elevated cuisine, exceptional company, and the finest conversation San Diego has to offer. It is also 11 a.m., which is perfectly acceptable for a martini, or three. I would join you, but even I know when I am in the presence of greatness. Enjoy every moment, you have earned it. — Ron Burgundy, Channel 4 News Team, San Diego | Unofficial Culinary Correspondent, Looq UC 2026. Stay classy.
