At Looq, data integrity, security, and transparency are foundational to how we operate. ​From our qCam capture device to the qApp user portal and underlying cloud infrastructure, every component of the Looq Platform is built with rigorous security and privacy protocols at its core. Captured environments are encrypted in transit and at rest—immediately upon capture and before the data is written to disk. This means data cannot be accessed or reconstructed from the device alone. You retain full ownership of your data at all times, and when you choose to delete it, it is permanently removed from our systems.​

We do not outsource trust. Looq directly oversees all data handling and access. To ensure maximum reliability and protection, we partner only with a select group of proven, enterprise-grade technology providers who share our commitment to safeguarding your information.​ ​

Product Delivery and Continuous Improvement​

Looq only accesses your data as required to deliver and support the services you use. Your raw data remains exclusively yours and is used solely for the purpose of providing and maintaining your Looq experience.​

We do not commercialize your raw data. However, anonymized system-level metrics—such as processing times, file sizes, and usage patterns—may be used to enhance platform performance, reliability, and user experience. These metrics are never linked back to your identifiable content or used to train third-party models.​

All data derived from your original files are generated specifically for your use and remain within your control. Any use of your data—including images, video, or derived visuals—for marketing or sales purposes is done only with your explicit consent. ​

Use of Personal Information​

Looq may use limited personal information—such as your name, company, and email address—to communicate product updates, offer support, and share relevant insights or opportunities. We do not sell your personal information, and you can opt out of marketing communications at any time.​
