We're hiring General Managers to build and lead our field-services operations across their respective regions, with each leader taking ownership of their territory's growth, performance, and success.
This is an opportunity to build and lead a regional field-services business from the ground up. You'll recruit and develop field teams, partner with Business Development to secure initial utility projects, and take full ownership of regional performance, including crew utilization, cost per pole, profitability, and on-time delivery. Your first year will focus on establishing the operation, with a goal of scaling to three or more crews by year two.
Reports to: VP Business Development, Field Services
You bring 8+ years in utility field services, line work, pole inspection or distribution engineering, 3+ years leading crews, and the ability to be measured on a number. You know how utilities run their field programs and what it takes to keep technicians working safely and productively on the road.
Apply with a résumé and the largest crew operation you have run, in one paragraph.

Looq AI is transforming how utility infrastructure is captured, inspected, and understood. Our qCam is a photogrammetric multi-camera system that turns a walk along a utility line into survey-grade 3D data. Engineering firms and utilities use Looq to inspect, model, and strengthen distribution networks faster and more efficiently than traditional field methods.
Headquartered in San Diego and venture-backed, Looq is growing quickly as utilities across the U.S. invest billions in modernizing and strengthening the grid.
Looq Services is the next phase of that growth. Rather than only providing the technology, we're building our own field teams to capture data and deliver finished inspection results directly to utilities — including pole geometry, crossarm and insulator conditions, attachments, clearances, and loading analysis, with a 72-hour turnaround from capture to delivery.
With a truck and a qCam, a single technician can capture approximately 90 poles per day. As we expand across geographic regions in North America, our early leaders will help shape how Looq Services operates and scales.
