Overview
As a Front-End Web Developer at Looq AI, you’ll build the visual layer of our advanced 3D capture and visualization platform. Your mission? Craft intuitive, high-performance web interfaces that turn complex geospatial and mapping data into clear, usable insights.
You’ll work closely with AI, cloud, and hardware teams to deliver seamless user experiences for technical workflows. If you’re excited by turning cutting-edge technology into practical tools that users actually rely on, you’ll fit right in.
What You’ll Do
- Build intuitive, high-performance 3D web experiences using React, TypeScript, and WebGL frameworks
- Integrate with backend APIs and cloud services to present dynamic 3D and mapping data
- Develop responsive, performant, and accessible web applications for desktop and mobile users
- Collaborate with product designers, AI, and hardware teams to build seamless, cross-functional workflows
- Optimize front-end performance — from load times to rendering large-scale 3D datasets
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and front-end code quality practice
- Debug and resolve UI/UX issues across devices, browsers, and user environments
Technical Proficiency
- Strong experience in React, TypeScript, and modern front-end frameworks
- Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles
- Experience with data visualization or 3D rendering (WebGL, Three.js, or similar) is a plus — but curiosity matters more than experience, and we’ll support you in learning it
- Comfortable integrating with backend services via REST APIs or GraphQL
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and client-side performance optimization
- Familiar with version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows
- Bonus: Experience working with 3D point clouds, meshes, or geospatial/mapping data
What We’re Looking For
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
- 2–5 years of hands-on front-end development experience
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Proven experience building production-ready web applications in collaborative teams
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, iterative startup environments
- A passion for crafting intuitive interfaces that support complex technical workflows

Compensation
Base salary ranging from $160,000K – $195,000K with eligibility for stock options as part of the total compensation package.
